Beloved Websites is a small UK web studio that builds and hosts static websites for tradespeople and small local businesses. The demo is free, the site can stay on our beloved-websites.com address with no monthly fee, and on your own domain it costs £9.99 a month with no setup fee, no deposit and no minimum term.

Two ways to keep your site
The demo is free and you are under no obligation. Once you have seen it, there are two ways to keep the site.

What the £9.99 a month covers
This is the plan on your own domain.
- A static website of one page or several, built for phones first
- Hosting on your own domain, with HTTPS
- Backups, security patching and keeping the site online
- A contact or quote form that sends enquiries to one email address you name, with a filter that holds back unsolicited sales pitches
- Call and WhatsApp buttons
- Photo optimisation and before and after galleries
- On-page SEO: page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and image alt text
- Site copy written from what you send us, which you check and approve
- Two rounds of changes while we build
- The first calendar month after go-live for polishing copy, colours, sections, photos and layout
- After that month, fixes for anything that breaks or that we got wrong
- One custom domain connected to the site
What is not part of the service
We build and maintain the website itself. If you already use a booking or payment service, we can add a button that takes your customers to it.

How payment works
The demo is free. You only pay once you choose to go live on your own domain.
The £9.99 is billed monthly in advance from the day your site goes live on your domain, normally by Direct Debit. We send you a secure link to set it up. We never take bank or card details by phone or in a chat.
To cancel, send us a message. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for.
If a payment fails we may retry it and get in touch. If it stays unpaid we may suspend the site until it is settled.
We give at least 30 days’ notice of any change to the price, and you are free to cancel before it takes effect.
If you would rather skip the demo and go straight to your own domain, tell us and we will confirm when payment starts.
Costs outside the monthly price
There is no setup fee and no deposit. These are the things the £9.99 does not cover.

What happens after the first month
For the first calendar month after go-live we work with you to polish the site: copy, colours, sections, photos and layout.
After that, your £9.99 keeps the site hosted, secure, backed up and online, and we fix anything that breaks or that we got wrong.
Content or design changes after the first month may be chargeable. We tell you the cost and agree it with you before we do the work.
What happens if you leave
The plan is monthly rolling with no minimum term. You can cancel any time by message, and it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. The hosted site is taken offline then.
If you have your own domain it stays registered to you.
You can ask us for a static export of your site to host elsewhere: the published HTML, CSS and images. Once any export has been provided, the copy we host is removed.
The words, photos, logo and brand you gave us stay yours. The design system the site is built on stays ours. The detail is in our terms.
Pricing questions
Is there a setup fee or a deposit?
No. There is no setup fee and no deposit for the £9.99 website, and the demo is free. If you need a domain we can buy one on your behalf at cost. Moving an existing website is quoted separately.

Yes. The demo is free with no obligation. If you keep the site on our address, such as yourname.beloved-websites.com, there is no monthly fee while it stays there. A free site carries a small “Website by Beloved Websites” credit, and we may withdraw the free tier on reasonable notice.
When do I start paying?
When your site goes live on your own domain. The demo costs nothing. If you would rather skip the demo, tell us and we will confirm when payment starts.
